I didn't buy the "Retro Fresh" designer paper from Stampin' Up, but I had all the colors for it (I subbed Soft Suede in replacement for Baked Brown Sugar). For those of you that do Stampin' Up, the DSP is a really good source for color combo inspirations.

I've been experimenting a lot with washi tape lately, and I'm really starting to like the "background effect" of strips of washi behind a central image.

Welcoming Woodland

I know I'm going to go a little "copic crazy" on these next couple of posts. I debated whether or not to put embellishments on, but thought it might take away from the cute little fox :)

Nature's Nest

This card is perfect for a New baby or a New home. I used colored floss/thread for the nest, so it gives some dimension and texture to it. The egg is cut-out and dotted little spots with a white, opaque gel pen. I sponged some ink around the white piece to give it a fluffy "cloud feel."

Giving Gratitude

With Thanksgiving tomorrow, what better time than now to say "Thank you!" Besides my family, of course, I'm thankful whenever I get the free time to craft :)
